ELECTROGRIP DR6 CHUCK POWER SYSTEM
- The DR6A base station communicates with a host and other local devices using:
- RS-232 serial
- RS-485 Modbus RTU or ASCII serial
- USB
- DeviceNet
- Through GPIO digital and analog ports using local connections
- Use of a power coupler between base station and chuck power module yields complete isolation and permits operation of chucks and associated equipment:
- At megavolt levels
- With rf applied in any voltage and frequency combination
- While translating and rotating
- On robot arms without moving wiring
- With motor drives powered at, and moving with, chucks
- With extensive control and monitoring in chucks during processes
- The DR6A base station communicates with attached multidrop modules using:
- 9600 Baud Modbus / DeviceNet commands
- Power up to 75W for motor drives and other purposes
- One or more chained power couplers as needed, connected to:
- DR6V - up to +/- 10kV output chuck power module
- DR6VI - up to +/- 10kV output chuck power with rf isolation and Vp-p, Vbias measurement
- DR6VHP - up to +/- 3kV, 3mA output chuck power module
- DR6P - adds analog & digital I/O ports, and four additional bipolar high voltage outputs
- DR6S - servomotor power for up to 5A continuous at 10V output
- DR6M - servo drive motor module
- The DR6V, VI, VHP, P High Voltage Power Supplies (Chuck Drivers) provide Readouts of ...
- Chuck electrode capacitance between 5pF and 100nF with 5% absolute accuracy
- Chuck electrode capacitance monitoring with 0.2pF precision during process, at 1nF
- Chuck electrode currents to 1nA precision and up to 3mA
- Chuck electrode voltages to 20V precision and up to 10kV
- Electronics temperature
- External signals eg, from temperature monitoring sensors
More details on connections between the above modules are given in our Multidrop section.
